Pelvic Floor Exercise - for treatment and prevention of stress urinary incontinence
Pelvic floor exercises should be given as the first treatment for patients suffering with incontinence and all antenatal patients should have access to pelvic floor muscle training within their booking in session.
This pelvic floor exercise video has been developed for all patients who either are incontinent or are vulnerable to the problem of incontinence. This group include antenatal mums, post natal mums, post-menopausal women, anyone with chronic constipation or a chronic cough and any women undergoing pelvic floor surgery or who does a lot of lifting within their work.
