Ely PCNs – Volunteers

Ely PCNs logo
We are delighted to say that the Ely PCNs have given over 50,000 coronavirus vaccinations since we began this programme, just before Christmas.
THANK YOU SO MUCH, to all of you – staff, volunteers, patients and local businesses everyone has been so wonderfully committed to our success.
The PCN staff have been very fortunate to have had so many helpers.  We have welcomed back retired colleagues but have also made many new friends.  However, there is always room for more!  Shifts can be pretty much any day of the week.  Some daytime, some evening.  You only need to sign up for what you’re able to do – every little bit helps!
CLINICAL VOLUNTEERS – doctors, nurses, paramedics, pharmacists and other health professions:  Shifts are usually 4.5 hours long:  clinics operate under a patient group direction (PGD) so you will need to be a member of a registered profession that can sign and vaccinate under a PGD.
Please complete our VACCINATOR APPLICATION and one of the team will contact you.
NON-CLINICAL VOLUNTEERS – car parks, general patient flow and assistance: for some clinics we need volunteers with anaphylaxis awareness (St John’s Ambulance vaccinators have been great in this role):  Shifts are usually 2.5-3 hours long.
Please complete the VOLUNTEER APPLICATION and one of the team will contact you.
We look forward to welcoming you to the team.
