Finding out that you have cancer can be a scary time, but there are many people ready to support you.
It is likely that most of your initial active treatment will be in a hospital setting. However, the staff at this surgery are here to help ensure that you can find the appropriate care and help you need, when you need it.
Within a few months of your diagnosis, one of our team will contact you to introduce themselves, just to see how you are doing and to see if you have any early concerns.
You can complete our “Living Better with Cancer” review at any time and send it to us.
You will also find links to national sites such as MacMillan and more locally the Cambridge Cancer Help Centre on our Cancer Online Services page.
It is natural to worry and to be upset, but remember that you are not alone and help is available.
