A carer can be anyone, including children and adults, who looks after a family member, partner or friend who needs help because of their illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction, and could not cope without their support. 

Whilst there are many differences in the level of care people provide, we aim to provide information and support to all of our registered carers.
