Often the care and support that Carers provide for their loved ones goes unnoticed – until such time as the Carer is, for whatever reason, no longer available.
The What If? Plan service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year and it can provide emergency support to the person you care for, in the event of you being unable to care because of a sudden illness, accident or other unplanned event.
This is a free service funded by Cambridgeshire County Council to look after adults with care needs during an emergency involving their family carer.
If the carer lives in Cambridgeshire and the person you care for is over 18 years, you can register a What If? Plan” and apply for an Emergency Card.
